Other than that a really great, enjoyable stay we will definitely visit again! Both the steakhouse and the pub were closed so the only option was fast food Chinese or the diner. I would’ve liked to stay within the resort but unfortunately we had to venture out to find a place to have a nice dinner. The only downside I would say is that on a Monday evening there are very slim pickings for dinner.
The services were great and we highly recommend their spa. We had a couples massage and used their eucalyptus steam room afterward. We had some spa services done at the Crystal life spa and that also was a treat. We had a king suite in the hotel and the room was beautifully appointed, and clean.
The grounds and casino are clean, non-smoking, and have a great variety of both table games and machines. Although we did not win in the casino, we had a wonderful time otherwise. We decided to give the New resort a try, we were very glad we did. My husband and I were celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary, and having a winter anniversary sometimes makes it hard to figure out what to do! Without being able to go outdoors, it’s sometimes tough to figure out something that would be enjoyable.
